HAPPY BIRTHDAY XINYI :D

Yup,today's xinyi's birthday *claps* Thanks to Arjun, WeeLeong and HaoZhe for helping us with the physics SPA so we could go out and celebrate X: I owe you all one!
Anyway,few things today. One, congrats to Choo JiaSheng again, here are some pictures of his "Once In A Lifetime Opportunity" The pictures are sent to everyone on the gessportal.

Another thing is to talk about the fish tank. I've had quite a few complains about the fish tank already. I will say it once and for all, THE MANTAINING OF THE FISH TANK IS NOT ONLY MY RESPONSIBILTY, BUT EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILTY! So perhaps instead of keep asking us to do things to the fish tank,maybe once in a while you can help out, or at least SEEM INTERESTED! Like the posts on the class blog. As i've gathered,a lot of people have said that they've come to th class blog but didn't tag about the fish. I'm not asking much am i? I just want(if that's the choice of everyone) to have fish in the class that everyone would supposingly like. For the past six months it has been mainly me(and a few other individuals) that are mantaining the tank, choosing the fish. I mean, the tank is SUPER UNIQUE to our class, so is it too demanding that people GET CONCERNED with the fish tank?

Enough is enough,either people start responding to the fish tank and stuff, even if your comment is that you don't want the fish tank, I WILL TAKE AWAY THE FISH TANK! I'll empty the water so mosquitos won't come, and i'll leave it there. That's all i have to say. Think about it.

First day of school is over! How was it? But today was full of 'celebrating", but tomorrow is back to serious business! By the way, there is both english and social studies tomorrow! Have you finished the homework? Anyway,all remember to stay back for 1h to have physcis Spa lessons.

Ok,update on the fish tank. I don't know why but apparently, mosquitos have made their home there-.- Ok,that's quite serious. Anyway, WeeLeong has kindly cleared all the visible eggs and larva from the class tank. Ok,two reasons i have come up with. No1. No fish,so nothing to 'get rid' of the eggs. No2. Someone(don't know who) went to turn off the pump. Cause with the pump in operation, the water won't be stagnent,and theoratically,mosquitos shouldn't lay their eggs there. I have no idea who did it,but whoever did left the lights on, and as a result an enormous amount of algae has formed on the fish tank and the gravel. So a lot of mantainece has to be done.

I don't know if you all would want this. But WeeLeong (i think) has suggested that we take away the fish tank(or the fake fish in the tank,i'm not too sure) Anyway, if anyone thinks that having the fish tank is a hazard to our lives blah blah,just tell me. We'll do away with the fish tanks and we can all live in peace once again.

Oh,and i can't believe some people actually thought the fish were real!

Anyway,good job Jiasheng, bringing glory to our class! Lol,and good job 4G for cheering so loudly, until Jiasheng also "paiseh" (diao) Today was not bad in all,hope tomorrow will be alright too. Nights.

SCHOOL RE-OPENS TOMORROW!

Have you done your homework? Cut your hair? omg,we were given such late notice. And erm,prepared yourself for term three! Lol,cut the crap. Yes,school finally opens tomorrow! (all too soon..) I hope(and pray HARD) that term three will be better! More studying, better bonding, New fish tank in-habitants! I've been to the shop and gotten the prices of the fish i talked about earlier.

FISH TANK PART ONE.

Hey 4g,we've finally cleared all our re-exams! The 'O' levels aren't excatly very far away, the time we have left is really very short and we should all start to study already, for every subject!

Anyway, MsMah said to collect your SPA files from her locker. But, we need to bring the P-power and Acid SPA worksheets;she said she'd post more information on the gessportal. But just try to bring them ASAP cos fyi,we haven't done our tagging yet either..

School is opening soon, on Monday to be exact, remember to do your homework,try to chiong the last few days, cause i think not many actually did anything(like me) :D Last thing, as requested by KaiLeun(who said he loves fishes Oo) i'm gonna post the pictures of the fish i'm thinking of putting in the tank:

First of all,everyone wanted tigers,dolphins,whales.. I can't give any of those,but i can give you a shark:

Meet the Red-tailed Black Shark. This is a really really beautiful fish(and it's a shark,really. It's in the shark family) But it grows to quite a large size,both the sharks do. And it's rather aggressive, so if you want to keep this fish,we can't use tetras, but tiger barbs(picture later/next time) But i'm not even sure if i can find it. Not manyt shops sell, i may have to find a substitue(which looks rather identical).


Meet the Bala Shark. This shark i can find! And it's rather small, about 4-5cm and it's only for $1.50. But this shark grows to around 36cm, and rather quick. What i suggest is to put this shark in the school pond once it out-grows our tank(Then we'll always have a part to play in the eco-pond! haha) Fyi,this shark isn't agressive,so most fish can co-live with this beautiful creature.

If we have a red-tailed shark,i suggest having tiger barbs and clown loaches. Because tiger barbs are agressive as well, so no one party will suffer. Clown loach,so i've heard,is able to co-live with the Red-Tailed Black Shark, so it's a pretty good choice of a bottom-feeder:

Meet the Tiger Barb! (it's somewhat a tiger,like jiansheng said,lol) It's quite an agressive fish. And they look rather nice. Plus,there's more than one type of Tiger Barbs. If we decide to keep a shark,i suggest this fish. But with other community fish(aka tetras) i'd rather not. They'd attack the other fishes.



Meet the clown loach! This is another fish that can grow rather big. But i think it takes a good 30years for it to grow up to it's maximum size,30cm. I've had experience of this fish jumping out of the tank,so need to be careful. But it's a good community fish, and i heard it doesn't fight with the Red-Tailed Black Shark, so it's a pretty good option. But this fish may be a little expensive. However, i think it's colours would suit the tiger barbs and they'll look nice together.


Besides this,i was planning to add REAL plants into the class tank.



It may take some mantaining,but it'll look nicer. But then it'll take a lot of time,i may need people to help me. Doing everything alone sometimes can be quite depressing.. kay,bye.

Hello 4G! Mrchan is back on the forum! Lol,and he posted a lot,and i think it makes sense,so go read it! Besides that,I'm sure some of you have heard about the MOE voting/polling thing-a-ma-gic. Go to www.channelnewsasia.com/singapore/index.htm to vote whether school should resume or should the holidays be extended by ONE MORE WEEK! And i'm not sure if you've heard about that North Korea ship that's heading for myammar via Singapore route. I'm not sure what's going on, but if they decided to bomb us halfway before going halfway.. ... ... yeah.

Anyway! I've more or less decided what fish to add into our school tank! Neon tetras! Cause Timothy gave me and extra 15, so now i have 25 neon tetras in my tank and that's not too pretty. So i'm deciding to give some to the class! (plus they're brightly coloured Sumi) But i just need to choose those that don't have the white spots.. The breakout in my tank is not completely over yet.

So work hard, re-exam for Social Studies is tomorrow (and i've just started-.-) 8am i think, i'm not too sure. Ask around alright? Kay,bye.

Hey! Im back from my holiday,haha. erm,okay.i don't think everyone knows about what happened to the fish in the class tank.. So here's the story:

last week i went back to class for math lessons,then i realised the goldfish had SUPER SEVERE(sybillant alliteration,haha) white spots, which is an illness,a very common one,something like flu for humans. it may be common,but if you don't treat it,they'll die from it eventually, just like humans. if they have the flu virus and don't get enough rest, it'll soon turn fatal. and well,if the white spots was serious, means the goldfish got the illness over the week and no one treated them. So yeah,it'll be really really hard to treat them,so i just seperated them.. Then i think the extra stress on the fish made them die faster D:

So they died by the afternoon.. and i released the still-alive-but-confirm-still-going-to-die goldfish into the eco pond and they got eaten by the cicihilds(erm..the fish below). I took the remaining fishes home to try and recuperate them. Lo and Behold,they infected my entire fish tank-.- well,it's better now and i think i will keep the other fish in my tank. Timothy is selling me some more fish, maybe i will consider putting those in the tank.

Anyway, Kaileun suggested having discus. Which erm,i think is not good. But if you all want, can try lor. But the money for the discus will be from the class fund already, not from my own pocket, cause im not confident at all that they will survive. The other option is i buy new fish. Maybe a change is good too.

Another thing, i am thinking of replacing the fake plants in the tank with real plants, because the fake plants are quite ulgy? haha. But that'll have to wait till school re-opens. So that's the current situation of the fish tank in class.

If anyone has anymore suggestions, please tell me.

hey everyone! so finally,the birthday celebration for march,april,may and june babies is over! i'm sure not everyone attended the celebration(i wasn't there too,but i was held up by my lessons!) so look foward to the next (july)birthday celebration! btw,please be more pro-active next time and POSE FOR A PICTURE PLEASE! so at least we have more pictures of our class together :D

day one of lessons are over! just another two days and we'll have more time for the holidays! (ok,actually that's what i want :D) the mother tongue o level exam is over! good job people.i think i will fail, didn't realise the paper was so hard.. anyway,we still have the oral coming out! so please prepare for that(mdm jing gave us an oral paper to work on btw)

reminder for both the committee meeting on friday(5th june) and the GRADUATION VIDEO COMMITTEE! we need to start planning for the video soon! so please,volunteer your services!
so far there's me and cinyi(duh) hahahaha.more people please. and most likely we'll need the class to stay back on a few occasions to take the video cause we're trying our best to involve everyone!
